2017 State of Information Technology in Hampton Roads IntellecTechs CEO Jeri Prophet Panelist

Virginia Beach, VA-  IntellecTechs, Inc. (pronounced In-te-LEC-Teks) announced that Founder and CEO, Jeri Prophet, served as a panelist on the 2017 State of Information Technology in Hampton Roads held at the Hilton Norfolk’s The Main in Norfolk, VA on August 22, 2017. Conference presentations and discussions included Homeland Security, A Look into Hybrid IT, Cybersecurity and Protecting Data.

Panelists at the 2017 State of Information Technology in Hampton Roads included: Peter Wallace, CIO, Virginia Beach; Dale Smith, Director of Technical Services, Sentara; Rusty Waterfield, CIO ODU; Moderator Deb Cassidy, CIO PRA, Visiting Professor, Department of Computer Science, Norfolk State University; Ryan Cochran, Chief Information Security Officer, Towne Bank; Steven H. DeBerry, CIO City of Norfolk; Andy Kowalski, CISO, head of Cyber Security for Jefferson Labs; Darek Dabbs, CTO Sera-Brynn; and Moderator Mary Ann (Malloy) Hoppa, PhD.

Prophet shared her experiences in the Information Technology field, and some of the challenges that a small business owner faces every day.
