Virginia Department of Veteran Services Recognizes IntellecTechs for Hiring Women Veterans

Virginia Beach, VA (May 20, 2019) – IntellecTechs, Inc. (pronounced In-te-LEC-Teks), is pleased to announce that they have been recognized from the Virginia Department of Veterans Services, as a Virginia Values Veterans (V3) partner company for demonstrating its outstanding commitment to promoting the hiring of women Veterans and increasing the number of  Veterans in the workforce.This is the second year for this prestigious award and recognizes the number of women Veterans hired by Virginia Values Veterans (V3) partner companies and organizations since the inception of the V3 program through December 2018. The 2019 award will reflect hires from January 2018-December 2018.  There were four categories based on the number of employees:  Enterprise (1000+), Large (301-1000), Medium (51-300), Small (1-50).

Jeri Prophet, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of IntellecTechs, accepted this award at the 2019 Virginia Women Veterans Summit.  “IntellecTechs is honored to be recognized by V3.  Our Human Resource team works tirelessly to ensure that my commitment to hiring and serving Veterans, active duty military members, and their families is met with the care it deserves.  We pledge to continue to lead the way in hiring Veterans in the Information Technology services field,” said Jeri Prophet.

The Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Program is a Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Veterans Services Program. V3 helps employers understand, design, and implement nationally recognized best practices in recruiting, hiring and retaining Veterans that was organized under the directorate of Veterans Education, Training, and Employment, within the Virginia Department of Veterans Services.  IntellecTechs is part of more than the 600 businesses, state and local government agencies and educational institutions certified by the V3 program promoting the hiring of over 35,000 Veterans since 2013.

IntellecTechs Acquires Coastal IT Solutions

Hillary Boyce Awarded AFCEA 40 Under 40

IntellecTechs Hires Vice President of Client Services

A New Chief Information Technology Officer Joins IntellecTechs

She brings the ability to formulate customized system security engineering specifications for complex systems and cutting-edge weapons platforms, as well as develop cost effective strategies to enable sustainment of platforms and solutions for the long term. Throughout her career, she has helped clients, peers, and subordinates diagnose cyber issues centric to their unique missions and unique capabilities to position themselves for mission success. She has a contagious enthusiasm and passionate drive for cybersecurity issues that affect commercial and government clients. She has also led innovative cyber initiatives to enable organizations cost effective compliance with a variety of NIST, DFARS and DOD guidance. Ms. Napoleon previously held leadership positions in Cybersecurity with Synchron Federal, Elbit Systems of America, SAIC and Lockheed Martin. IntellecTechs Honors Nathan Block for Celebrating 50 Years at NASA

Mr. Block will be honored at a luncheon event on the 30th of April 2019 at 11:30 a.m.

Mr. Block began his career at NASA Goddard in January of 1969 and over the years he has had the opportunity to work in many areas of the space flight center. He has brought his experience and dedication to each role every day for the past 50 years. In addition to his employment at Goddard, Nathan has also taught numerous electronic courses and tested many space program items. In 2014, Mr. Block joined the IntellecTechs team as a contractor and has been a valued member to support NASA’s mission, vision and values.

IntellecTechs Awarded Contract with U.S. Navy

Virginia Beach, VA (December 12, 2018) – IntellecTechs, Inc. (pronounced In-te-LEC-Teks), proudly announces the award from the U.S. Navy for a 10-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), multiple-award contracts (MACs), in multiple locations across 46 states in the United States, the District of Columbia, and Guam. The job scope covers future competition of support service requirements to be solicited by Department of the Navy activities under the SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort-NxG) multiple-award contract vehicle.  IntellecTechs will continue to support Naval Sea Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Office of Naval Research, or the United States Marine Corps with potential services that potentially span the entire spectrum of mission areas and technical capabilities supported by the Department of the Navy (DoN) ordering activities. Services within 22 functional areas will be managed by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).  Government agencies can use the IDIQ to buy engineering and program management support services.
